Some of projects we take the most pride in are the creative solutions we develop to very specific problems. In response to privacy concerns between tenants of two adjoining high-rise residential towers, Domain Companies engaged GOAT to design a screen system that would integrate aesthetically with the existing facade of the Beacon, provide a visual and physical barrier between the two roof decks, and be equally visually compelling on both sides.

The solution developed by the GOAT team borrowed the existing prominent facade elements from Eskew Dumez Ripple’s design and deployed them as the structure to support horizontal planters, echoing prominent elements on The Standard’s roof deck. The result is a feature element that serves the desired practical purpose while enhancing the respective roof deck experiences for all residents.
